I am heading the Knowledge-Based Systems Research Group (KBS). I have secondary affiliations (Kooptierungen) with the Institute of Cognitive Science and the Institute for Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing. I am also affiliated with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), heading the DFKI RIC Osnabrück Branch.

[Oct 15, 2012] Dr. Ronny Hartanto has received the Dissertation Award by the Fachbereichstag Informatik (FBTI) for his Doctoral Dissertation "Fusing DL Reasoning with HTN Planning as a Deliberative Layer in Mobile Robotics" done under my supervision at the UOS while working at the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.
