    Harmoneous Personnel Scheduling

Abstract:
Scheduling personnel in organisations that work around the clock is a heavily 
constrained problem. These constraints come from employers and employees, 
but also from legislation and collective labour agreements. In this talk 
we first give an overview of the different aspects that play a role, and 
secondly describe a local search algorithm that is used in the commercial 
package HARMONY.
